Job Summary
The Senior Functional Analyst SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) CoE will be
responsible for IT production support using the ServiceNow ticketing system ensuring efficient ticket
flow management prompt issue resolution and high customer satisfaction. During enhancements
rollouts and continuous improvement projects the analyst will play a key role in optimizing IM &
EWM processes within SAP ECC environments (North America Asia & Europe) & EWM in global SAP
S/4HANA environment working closely with regional / cross-functional teams to enhance ECC WM
and S/4 EWM inbound and outbound deliveries order management warehouse tasks picking
packing physical inventory RF-Framework and system integration. The ideal candidate will have
strong expertise in SAP ECC WM and S/4HANA EWM functionalities integration with other modules
and the ability to collaborate with business stakeholders to drive efficiency and process
enhancements.

Scope of Responsibilities
1. SAP EWM Solution Design & Configuration
Support WM and S/4 EWM functional design configuration and deployment in SAP ECC & S/4HANA
environments.
o Hands-on expertise in SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) including Inbound &
Outbound Processing Warehouse Task & Order Management Picking & Packing Physical
Inventory and RF-Framework.
o Configure Warehouse Structure (Storage Types Bins Bin Sorting and Layout Design) to
optimize warehouse operations.
o Define and optimize Putaway Picking Strategies Slotting & Rearrangement and
Replenishment processes.

Ensure seamless integration between EWM and SAP MM SD PP and TM for efficient inventory
management and fulfillment.

Act as a key advisor to business stakeholders translating warehouse management requirements
into scalable SAP EWM solutions.
Identify opportunities for automation AI-driven insights and predictive analytics to optimize
warehouse operations.
Research and implement SAP best practices industry standards and lean warehouse principles for
process improvement.
Utilize Process Mining tools to analyze warehouse bottlenecks and recommend optimizations.
Drive SAP Fiori-based UI enhancements for warehouse operators improving ease of use and
efficiency.
4. Production Support & Issue Resolution
Serve as an escalation point for SAP EWM-related incidents conducting root cause analysis and
implementing permanent resolutions.
Maintain application maintenance processes and SLAs for issue resolution and minor
enhancements.
Troubleshoot RF Scanner connectivity Warehouse Task failures Batch Management issues and
Serial Number Management discrepancies.
Use SAP OSS Notes Debugging and Tracing tools to identify and resolve performance and
transaction issues.
Monitor and optimize Queue Management and Warehouse Monitor performance.
5. Change Management & Documentation
Manage SAP EWM-related Change Requests in SNOW and ensure proper testing & documentation
for review and approval by the global Change Advisory Board (CAB).
Ensure all warehouse process changes system configurations and enhancements are well-
documented and adhere to governance standards.
Participate in and represent Change Requests in the global Change Control Board (CCB) as needed.
Maintain compliance with GMP FDA SOX and local warehouse regulatory standards.
Document functional specifications user stories and test scripts for enhancements.
Collaborate with development teams to implement and test SAP Business Technology Platform
(BTP) services and ABAP developments (BAPIs BADIs Enhancement Framework User Exits SAP
Workflow Adobe Forms and Smart-Forms).
6. Testing Deployment & Audit Support
Lead and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) integration testing and cutover planning for SAP
EWM implementations rollouts and enhancements.
Support automation team in preparing test scripts and confirm the results for its accuracy.
Support internal and external audits ensuring compliance and data integrity.
Execute data migration strategies (SAP Migration Cockpit LSMW IDOCs BAPIs) for warehouse
master data stock balances and bin assignments.
Ensure seamless go-live transition and Hyper-care support for new implementations.
Act as a key advisor to business stakeholders translating warehouse management requirements

Required Education and Experience
Bachelors degree in supply chain management Logistics Engineering or equivalent experience.
8 years of hands-on experience in SAP EWM in a global SAP S/4HANA environment.
Hands-on experience in at least one full life-cycle global SAP S/4HANA implementation and/or
rollout support. Strong expertise in SAP ECC 6.0 is also considered valuable.
Experience in integration with Transportation Management (TM) Manufacturing and third-party
logistics solutions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of delivering results.
Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with remote teams.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with business and technical teams.
