Our client is a major in life insurance business company.

Responsibilities
  • Acting as IT finance controller to manage and control anything related to Finance in the IT department i.e budget expense asset management etc/
  • Acting as a Single point of contact on any related to IT finance with other departments.
  • Developing consolidated quarterly reporting for IT departments liaising with the Finance and Accounting teams to accurately capture department costs.
  • Developing a strong working process i.e. budget control budget planning etc. with the finance and accounting team to follow the regional IT guidelines.
  • Further developing and enhancing existing quarterly reporting templates and implementing new tracking reports for budget control.
  • Developing and completing variation analysis for IT comparing actuals to prior periods and budget/forecast.
  • Analyzing the impact of actual costs versus plan as applicable.
  • Ensuring the AR ageing report is aligned and up to date.
  • Providing regular and ad-hoc financial analysis for specific projects and cost elements as requested by Core Management Team members Corporate Controlling and others as required.
  • Leading and coordinating the IT teams budget process costs CAPEX programs etc.
  • Owning and managing the budget on an ongoing basis and challenging variances via business partnering with IT teams.
  • Participating in the area of security and audit where its required.
  • Handling other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree or masters degree in accounting business economics finance or a related field.
  • At least five years of finance and accounting experience in a business or finance environment. Specialization in IT cost management will be a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and addressing financial issues and variances.
  • Ability to handle ad-hoc requests and perform under pressure.
