Boarding Officer
A leading global maritime solutions provider is seeking a Boarding Officer to join their team. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversees all vessels including international cruises ensuring compliance with pre-arrival and departure requirements in the region.
- Manages and coordinates with subcontractors surveyors consignees and other local parties involved in vessel and cargo operations including bunkering crew changes medical assistance spare parts delivery and Cash-To-Master services.
- Prepares and submits port disbursement accounts for reimbursement to relevant stakeholders.
- Provides regular updates on work progress to relevant stakeholders including principals owners and company management.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum of a diploma in a relevant field or higher.
- At least 2 years of shore-based experience in the shipping or operations sector.
- General knowledge of the Hong Kong Shipping Ordinance.
- Proficient in written and spoken English Chinese and Mandarin.
- Strong customer orientation with excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with a strong emphasis on Excel.
