About the team

With presence in offices in Copenhagen Stockholm Munich and London the Investor Relations team is responsible for all fundraising activities and strategies across real estate equity (Nrep) real estate credit (Velo Capital) and venture capital (2150). We manage investor relationships provide guidance to internal teams and firm leadership and play a pivotal role in capital formation and business development.

Our Investor Relations team consists of around 26 professionals across three functions working closely together: the Client Advisory team which manages fundraising processes strategy client management and project management; the Distribution team which focuses on investor relationship management and sales; and the Marketing team responsible for creating the corporate narrative company-wide marketing materials and other strategic initiatives.

Urban Partners manages capital for the largest and most sophisticated institutional investors at a global scale from private pension funds and insurance companies to sovereign wealth funds family offices investment managers etc.

About the role

The role is situated and part of our dynamic Client Advisory team in Munich where you will play a key role in supporting fundraising efforts and managing day-to-day interactions with investors. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced collaborative environment across different asset classes. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Create marketing material for fundraising campaigns investor meetings and ad-hoc reporting
  • Support on investor requests and investor due diligence processes
  • Conduct market and competitor analyses to support strategic decision-making
  • Collaborating across teams including Investment Management Portfolio Management and Sustainability to gather insights and respond effectively to investor queries

This role offers exposure to a broad range of activities within the investment lifecycle and the chance to work closely with senior professionals and leading institutional investors.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

  • Fluency in English and German both written and spoken
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with internal and external stakeholders
  • Relevant experience in real estate investment asset management and/or portfolio management
  • A Bachelors or Masters degree in economics finance business or a related field
