About the Role
As a Dietitian based at Southland Hospital youll lead outpatient care while also supporting inpatient wards as required. Youll deliver services both in person and via telehealth using the PACE (Patient Anywhere Clinician Elsewhere) model to improve access for patients across the region particularly in rural areas.
Your caseload will be broad and varied with a focus on diabetes renal oncology gastroenterology and general medical and surgical patients. This secondary-level hospital role offers opportunities to contribute to clinical education quality initiatives and service development making it ideal for someone who values flexibility autonomy and making a meaningful impact.
About the Team/Service/ Location
Our small collegial Dietetics team works closely with the wider Allied Health Nursing and Medical teams across the Southern district. The hybrid model supports a mix of on-site care at Southland Hospital and remote telehealth with strong peer support and clinical networks extending to Dunedin Hospital.
