Job Title: Electrical Instrument & Control Engineer
Location: Oslo (remote / hybrid considered)
Contract Duration: Initial 3 months (with strong potential for extension)
Start Date: Immediate preferred
Job Overview:
Our client a leading organization in the Oil & Gas sector is seeking an Electrical Instrument & Control Engineer to support a major EPC tender. This is a critical role requiring an experienced professional who can contribute immediately and effectively. The contract is initially for 3 months but there is a high likelihood of long-term extension based on project demands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee instrumentation control and electrical engineering aspects of a major EPC tender.
- Provide technical expertise in instrumentation control systems and electrical engineering as needed.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards project requirements and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
- Review and approve technical documentation specifications and drawings.
- Support cost estimation risk assessments and feasibility studies related to instrumentation & control.
- Interface with vendors clients and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
Requirements:
- 10 years of experience in Electrical Instrumentation & Control Engineering within the Oil & Gas sector.
- Previous experience with reputed EPC companies is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of industry standards (e.g. IEC ANSI API ISO).
- Experience in EPC tendering including bid preparation and technical evaluations.
- Excellent problem-solving analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and deliver high-quality work.
