Title: Senior Network Engineer
Duration: Through December 2025 with potential extension
Location: Houston TX (Onsite preferred Hybrid considered)
Rate: $60/hr - $70/hr
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support operational network tasks with a focus on vulnerability management. The ideal candidate will have broad networking expertise strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to manage day-to-day operations in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily operational network support and maintenance.
- Allocate 20 40% of workload to vulnerability management tasks.
- Collaborate with internal teams to prioritize and address network tasks.
- Assist in network monitoring incident response and remediation.
- Ensure network stability performance and security across environments.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Senior Network Engineer in enterprise environments.
- Strong skills in network administration configuration and troubleshooting (Cisco preferred).
- Experience with vulnerability management tools and processes.
- Knowledge of security best practices for network infrastructure.
- Ability to work both independently and in team settings.
Preferred:
- Previous experience with voice systems (low priority for this role).
- Certifications such as CCNP CCIE or equivalent.1
