Job Description & Summary: A career within our Cloud & Infrastructure team will provide you with the opportunity to help clients design build and operate modern scalable and secure cloud platforms. As an AWS DevOps / SRE Engineer youll be part of a collaborative team responsible for enabling infrastructure automation operational reliability and cloud best practices while supporting mission-critical workloads across AWS environments.
Responsibilities:
Design implement and manage scalable secure and highly available infrastructure on AWS. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as CodePipeline GitHub Actions Jenkins or similar. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation. Monitor system performance uptime and reliability using CloudWatch and other observability tools. Handle incident response troubleshooting and root cause analysis across cloud environments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers architects and security engineers. Support ITSM workflows through systems like ServiceNow or Jira for incident and change management. Follow cloud security and networking best practices across VPC subnets SGs NACLs firewalls DNS and Load Balancers. Contribute to automation of operational tasks using scripting languages such as Bash PowerShell or Python. Stay current with emerging cloud technologies relevant to DevOps and platform engineering.
Mandatory skill sets:
Minimum 4 to 8 years of IT experience with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in AWS cloud operations. Strong expertise in AWS core services (EC2 S3 RDS IAM VPC Lambda CloudWatch etc.). Proficiency in scripting and automation (Bash PowerShell Python). Solid experience in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred). Sound knowledge of networking and security fundamentals in cloud environments. Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD processes. Experience with ITSM platforms like ServiceNow or Jira. Excellent troubleshooting analytical and communication skills.
Preferred skill sets:
Familiarity with Azure or GCP cloud platforms. Certifications in AWS or Azure (e.g. SysOps Admin Solutions Architect Azure Admin). Knowledge of containerization tools (Docker ECS EKS).
