Job Description

Position Summary
Career Readiness Learning Objectives: 1. Professionalism : Student Workers in the Registrars Office will develop their professionalism competency by learning to navigate a busy business office setting serving multiple constituents (peers alumni employees etc.). 2. Teamwork: Student Workers in the Registrars Office will develop their teamwork competency by seeing themselves as capable members of the office functions speaking up and sharing their skills when they see room for improvement and jumping in to learn new skills from each other and full-time employees contributing to a better working environment and business service to the Gannon Community. The office assistant will perform the following duties: Scan and link documents process registrations and make schedule changes provide general data entry support answer phones greet and help members of the Gannon Community (incoming families current students alumni faculty and staff.) and provide any general assistance to staff members as needed.

Physical Demands
Moving/lifting boxes and walking/making deliveries around campus.

Required Qualifications
Ability to perform general office duties.

Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in an office environment helpful but not required.
