Insert Design and Process Engineer

Job Description

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:

1.CAD Modeling:
Create and modify detailed 3D CAD models for custom inserts.
Collaborate with the design team to ensure compliance with engineering standards and project requirements.
2.Feasibility Studies:
Assess the technical feasibility of insert designs to meet performance and manufacturing constraints.
Conduct risk analysis and propose design optimizations concepts and DESIGN an INSERT to clean the Carriers.
3.Insert Qualification:

Validate insert designs through testing and analysis to meet quality and performance standards.

Prepare and document test reports and qualification results.

4.Recipe Optimization:
Adjust and refine process recipes to enhance performance yield and repeatability.
Monitor process parameters and implement improvements to ensure consistency.
5.Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with R&D manufacturing and quality teams to drive product development and improvements.
Participate in design reviews providing inputs to enhance functionality and manufacturability.


CAREER LEVEL:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering Materials Science or a related field.
3 years of experience in CAD design and process engineering preferably in the semiconductor industry.
Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks AutoCAD or similar tools.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials used in insert development.
Experience in conducting feasibility studies and risk assessments.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong knowledge of design validation and qualification techniques.
Familiarity with recipe adjustment and process optimization with regards to Brooks PuroMaxx 300.
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
Effective communication and documentation skills.
Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes.
Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) tools.
Understanding of quality control standards (e.g. ISO Six Sigma).
