Join our Facilities & Maintenance team at our Kerkrade manufacturing site and help shape the future of operational excellence. As part of our Maintenance Excellence Structure youll work on smarter cleaner and more efficient systems - right where theory meets practice.
Internship details:
Start date: September
Duration: 6 months
Working hours: 40 hours per week
Working model: Min. 80% on-site preferably 100% (to maximise hands-on learning and exposure to our manufacturing environment)
Location: Kerkrade The Netherlands
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
Apply the 5S methodology to help transform our workspace into cleaner safer and more efficient environments
Support the development of a crisis management procedure that keeps our operations secure responsive and future-ready
Analyse our current maintenance system and contribute to the setup of a new Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Design and launch an inventory tracking system for spare parts and tools to improve visibility and reduce downtime
Required Knowledge:
Enrolled in a degree programme in Industrial Engineering Mechanical Engineering Facility Management or a related technical field
Proficient in English (verbal and written); Dutch is an advantage for on-site interactions
Proactive hands-on and well-organised with a structured approach to problem-solving
Strong communicator who thrives in cross-functional teams and enjoys working with technicians engineers and site leaders
Detail-driven with excellent documentation and reporting skills to support technical processes
