Construction Project Management Intern | B&P

Are you interested in how large-scale buildings and infrastructure projects are planned coordinated and delivered
As a Project Management Intern in AECOM Netherlands Buildings & Places team youll gain hands-on experience supporting multidisciplinary project teams on real-world developments from early design through construction and delivery.

Youll collaborate with civil engineers architects planners and consultants on a wide range of building and infrastructure projects helping to ensure they are completed on time within budget and to the highest standards.

What Youll Do

• Support project managers in coordinating day-to-day project activities schedules and deliverables.
• Assist with preparing project documentation meeting minutes progress reports and presentations.
• Help track budgets timelines and performance indicators using project management tools.
• Participate in design coordination meetings and stakeholder workshops.
• Contribute to project risk assessments and quality control processes.
• Learn how sustainability safety and innovation are integrated into modern construction projects.

Compensation and Duration

This is a paid internship with a monthly compensation of 550 and reimbursement for public transport costs. The internship will run for a minimum duration of four months aiming for a start date around March-April 2026.

Qualifications :

Youre a Good Fit If You...

• Are in the final year of a study program in Civil Engineering Construction Management Architecture or a related field
• Are curious about how complex building and infrastructure projects are delivered
• Are organized detail-oriented and comfortable working in teams
• Have strong written and spoken English skills (Dutch is a plus)
• Are eager to learn project management tools (e.g. MS Project Excel BIM 360 or similar)
• Have a proactive attitude and want to take initiative
