Job Description
KITE Search are working with one of the most recognised names in Hong Kong with an impressive history and a diverse real estate portfolio that includes residential hospitality leisure commercial and retail assets. We are currently looking for a Hong Kong based highly experienced Head of Design & Project Management to oversee both Interior Design new build and A&A projects across Hong Kong covering multiple asset classes.
This executive position will see you lead and manage the design & project management process from inception to completion overseeing a large team of designers and project management staff to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and project management team ensuring a cohesive team environment
- Manage external consultants contractors and government departments and ensure performance and compliance
- Set up short medium and long-term strategies for renovation A&A and new-build projects
- Manage and mitigate project related risks from inception to completion
- Internal and external stakeholder management ensuring compliance with statutory requirements
- Introduce best practices in design construction and project management and identify areas for improvement
Qualifications / Experience:
- Degree qualified in Architecture or Engineering
- 20 years experience in Hong Kong within property development and construction from the client side
- Chartered in a related discipline eg: Authorised Person RIBA MICE RICS PMP
- Knowledge of planning design and construction regulations and trends with experience of govt liaison
- Demonstrated leadership ability in large scale multi-discipline projects across new-build A&A and renovations
- Excellent project & program management skills with a keen eye for design aesthetics
