Summa is a thematic investment firm that sees global challenges as opportunities. We invest in and develop companies driving innovative solutions for a more sustainable future. We are looking for full-time interns to join our Oslo office for 6-12 months starting in January or August 2026.

Founded in 2016 Summa Equity is animpact investment firm focusing on the thematic areas ofCircularity Energy Transition Sustainable Food and Tech-Enabled Resilience. The mission of Summa is to invest in solving global challenges.
Summa has raised c. EUR 4 billion and made over 30 platform investments across the three funds raised to date. The investments address the challenges we need to solve as a society enabling the potential for long-term sustainable outperformance.
The team is located globally with offices in Stockholm Oslo Munich London and the are part of Summas DNA exemplified by being a certified B Corporation and collaborating with Harvard Business School and the International Foundation for Valuing Impacts (IFVI).
To succeed in the role you should have:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Outstanding grades and motivation to build companies positively contributing to society
- Interest in learning and you thrive working in an open and transparent environment
- Ongoing studies towards a university degree or have just completed your studies
Previous work experience from banking management consulting or an investment firm is beneficial but not required as we strive to build a team with diverse all applicants we look for a strong connection and motivation to stay long-term in Norway.
You will become an integral part of Summas investment team and be involved in investment processes including identification of investment opportunities valuation due diligence and other relevant addition you will work with our existing portfolio companies.
As an intern you will be responsible for the following:
- Identify investment opportunities with high value creation potential across our themes
- Prepare valuation documents
- Implement industry and company analyses
- Work with corporate development in Summa Equitys existing portfolio companies
