Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated HRIS Workday Specialist to lead the day-to-day operations and continuous improvement of our Workday system across key HR modules: HCM Recruitment Compensation Talent Performance and LMS. This role is both technical and functional in nature requiring strong expertise in end-to-end HR system management.


You will manage and triage incoming support tickets via ServiceNow coordinate responses with internal stakeholders and external vendors and ensure high-quality system performance and stakeholder satisfaction. You will also drive Workday enhancements ensure operational compliance and serve as a key advisor on system-related HR processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee daily operations and support across all Workday modules (HCM Recruitment Compensation Talent Performance LMS)

- Manage ticket intake/outtake from ServiceNow ensuring timely resolution and effective stakeholder communication

- Serve as SME for Workday functionality and configuration; guide both technical and non-technical users

- Draft and refine HR policies procedures and data frameworks to ensure compliance with internal standards and legal requirements

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (HR IT Vendors) to implement system enhancements and innovation projects

- Analyze HR data to deliver insights that support strategic decisions and continuous improvement

- Monitor compliance with operational standards and regulatory requirements

- Provide training and support for Workday users across the business

- Stay updated on Workday roadmap industry best practices and emerging technologies

Qualifications

- Bachelors degree (or above) or equivalent in Human Resources Information Systems or related field

- 36 years of hands-on experience managing Workday systems in a mid-to-large scale organization

- Strong technical and functional knowledge across multiple Workday modules

- Proven ability to translate business needs into system solutions

- Experience with ServiceNow is a big plus

- Fluent in English and Japanese would be a big plus (Japanese not mandatory)

- Proficiency in MS Office Salesforce Teams SAP Oracle Webex

- Strong communication stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
