Role: Senior Account Executive (SMB)
Location: Dublin Ireland

Product: Global employment platform (EOR payroll compliance HR support)
Size and functions of local team:

  • 1 CFO finance (3) infrastructure (1)

  • Tech: CPTO 1 PM 2 engineers 2 tech interns

  • Go-to-market: 1 AE (UK SMB) 1 on mat leave 1 marketing lead 2 reports

  • 1 partnerships (ex-AE)

  • 3 payroll

  • 2 HR/compliance (1 returning from mat leave)

  • 2 CS (1 high-touch 1 SMB) 1 customer support

Role description:
AE Irish SMB segment (50300 FTE) deal sizes 735K ARR target 480K full-cycle sales (no SDR support) expected 60% outbound / 40% inbound.
Sales cycles are consultative addressing technical compliance and HR challenges.
Buyer persona: HR leaders; target industries are open but prior success with compliance-oriented stakeholders preferred.

  • Clear path to leadership as team scales (late 2025 / early 2026)

  • Strategic foundational hire shaping sales structure and GTM motion

  • Exposure to full sales operations and international expansion

Must haves:

  • 23 years in a senior AE role with closing experience

  • Proven SMB sales success

  • Strong outbound prospecting experience

  • Experience selling to HR leaders

  • Background in one/some of: HR tech payroll compliance EOR mobility employee benefits

  • Startup sales experience (minimum 1.5 years)

  • Comfort in remote-first cross-functional founder-led startup environments

  • Consultative selling ability

  • High autonomy adaptability and collaborative mindset

  • Dublin-based or commutable for in-person meetings

Nice to haves:

  • Compliance-oriented sales background (e.g. legal tech security insuretech)

  • Experience with regulatory technical or complex solutions

  • Familiarity with EOR competitive landscape

Salary range & secondary benefits:

  • Base: 60K

  • OTE: 120K
