Digital Communications Advisor (Website)

Permanent - Full Time Position

Band 6 - starting at $94850.87 super RDO (RDO applicable for full time 38 hours per week only)

The Strategic Communications and Engagement team is looking for a newDigital Communications Advisor (Website) to manage the Councils corporate website.

The position is responsible for providing strategic leadership and practical solutions to ensure that the City of Yarras digital presence; especially its website is modern accessible and effectively meets the needs of its diverse community. A key focus of the role is to enhance user experience and content quality across Yarras digital platforms with a strong emphasis on website management. This includes overseeing ongoing improvements managing updates and bug fixes in coordination with external developers and ensuring best-practice content creation through training and support for internal CMS users.

In addition to website leadership the role involves creating and managing digital content across various channels using analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Tag Manager to monitor and report on performance. The position also plays a critical role in supporting climate resilience by embedding environmental considerations into digital strategies. Collaboration with internal teams including Digital and Technology Services and Communications and Engagement is essential to deliver integrated communication and marketing initiatives that reflect innovation and accessibility.
