POSITION: Nutrition Services Substitute
LOCATION: Various Buildings
HOURS: On call as needed. Hours may vary.
SALARY: $19.66 - $20.06
NEW HIRES ARE CONDITIONAL UPON PASSING A FINGERPRINT SCREENING
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in preparation and serving of food; clean up dining and kitchen areas
- Serve food in cafeteria line.
- May relieve or assist other employees in higher-level food preparation tasks to meet emergencyor on-the-job situations.
- Wash dishes utensils pots and pans; operate dishwasher.
- Practice all sanitation and health regulations.
NON-ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist other personnel as may be required to support them with the completion of their work activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of the position.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid Washington State Department of Health Food Workers Card required.
- Proficiency in reading writing and speaking English required.
- Prior job-related experience preferred but not required.
- Experience working in a K-12 setting preferred but not required.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Ability to lift 40 or more pounds.
- Demonstrate exemplary customer service and responsiveness.
- Demonstrate aptitude and manualdexterity for successful performance of tasks listed.
- Ability to demonstratepunctuality and an excellent work attendance record.
