About The Role
The Technology Manager will play a key role in delivering expert technical support and innovative solutions in the application of sulfuric acid catalysts driving sustainable growth and ensuring customer satisfaction in the ASEAN and South Asian regions.
How You Will Do It
Technical Design and Solutions:
- Collaborate with chemists and engineers to develop optimal technical designs for sulfuric acid and styrene catalysts.
- Ensure designs meet competitive market needs.
- Collaborate with research and development for continual improvement of catalyst technologies.
Customer Support in India and Southeast Asia:
- Provide professional services to catalyst customers including supervision of catalyst filling and plant start-up.
- Troubleshoot issues and conduct onsite measurements to maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Regularly communicate with customers to gather feedback and insights.
Performance Warranty Development:
- Create comprehensive performance warranty offerings.
- Develop value-price proposals that communicate the benefits of catalysts.
- Collaborate with marketing teams for product launch strategies.
Technical Consultation and Documentation:
- Provide expert consultation on catalyst applications and performance optimization.
- Prepare and update operational manuals and procedures.
- Maintain documentation of operational data and quality records.
What We Look For
- Bachelors or masters degree in chemical engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years in the chemical industry with at least 3 years in chemical plant operations.
- Experience in catalyst technology is desirable.
- Preference to having experience in managing stakeholders (including production plant personnel) and customers in Indonesia.
- Highly entrepreneurial mindset with strong conceptual and analytical skills capable of navigating complex business challenges.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage across regions and functions effectively.
- Strong project management skills.
- Willingness to travel regionally to achieve market targets. (Up to 50%)
