Senior Legal Tech Expert (m / f / d) – Privacy, Risk & IT Compliance

• Support in shaping the strategic direction of our Legal Tech roadmap and play a pivotal role within the dynamic and forward-thinking Product and Tech teams; from the initial stages of design and development through launch and implementation of new products and services - globally.
• Review and negotiate software procurement agreements and related vendor contracts as well as requests for information (RFI).
• Act as legal partner to IT Security and Risk teams for ISO 27001 SOC II HIPAA TISAX NIS2 and similar frameworks (e.g. through Vanta or other tools).
• Manage data protection governance DPIAs complex data subject requests incident responses and collaborate closely with the DPO.
• Stay on top of critical global law developments and authority decisions and continuously improve internal legal frameworks templates and compliance documentation.
• Externally promote and advocate for the integration of legal tech advancements empowering professionals to transform the way they work and maximize their productivity and be the Legal representation of our company at public speaking opportunities conferences and workshops.

• A university degree in Law (fully qualified lawyer) Economics Law or a comparable fieldideally with a strong focus on Legal Tech SaaS Data Privacy and IT Securityalongside 5 years of relevant in-house experience in an international legal environment.
• Experience with certification and compliance frameworks (e.g. ISO 27001 SOC 2) vendor risk management tools and a proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Security IT and Engineering teams.
• Experience working in a B2B SaaS environment preferably within digital technologies legal tech IT security or similar.
• Comprehensive knowledge of international commercial privacy data protection laws with a focus on EU legislation regulatory decisions and authority guidelines.
• Excellent communication and legal writing skills in English (native or equivalent fluency) with the ability to convey complex legal matters clearly and effectively in a business context.
• A confident outgoing personality with a proven public presencecomfortable leading workshops speaking at conferences and traveling to our European hubs or external engagements as needed.
