Job Description
Virtelligence is seeking a Senior Video Editor/Animator (Part-Time). The individual must be extremely detail-oriented and strive for zero tolerance in meeting quality objectives and deadlines.
Key Tasks
- Planning and editing creative videos for our products and promotional pieces for products and events
- Editing and uploading YouTube podcasts and conference videos and other videos as needed
- Designing video thumbnails and other assets as needed
- Animation and motion graphics creation through After Effects Motion and others.
- Edit high-quality short-form and long-form video projects.
- Editing and uploading our weekly broadcasts
- Utilizing Adobe Premiere Pro Adobe After Effects Adobe Photoshop and general video editing software to work on a video.
- Adjusting your video to meet retention standards by utilizing notes given by a retention specialist
- Implementing creative choices during editing - including scenario structure for animations finding the right music for certain clips and reactions and determining what should be supported visually/audibly in the editing process
- Proposing fresh ideas for podcasts and other video content
- Writing descriptions for digital content as needed
- Work independently as well as part of a team to establish project deliverables
- Collaborate closely with the creative director and creative team to help facilitate the creation of multimedia content
- Assisting in other areas as required
Requirements
- 2 years (s) of related work in video editing
- Demonstrated proficiency in production video editing animation motion graphics sound design and video compression codecs
- Advanced knowledge and experience with Adobe Creative Cloud including Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects with Photoshop and Illustrator
- Advanced knowledge of matching video to music and working with Sound Effects
- Ability to work on multiple projects at once and self-start on projects
- Being incredibly accountable and meeting deadlines far in advance without sacrificing quality
- If youre able to learn and progress your understanding of video strategy quickly and without issue in order to maximize efficiency and reduce the notetaking workload
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Keywords:Adobe Creative Cloud including Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects with Photoshop and Illustrator
Minimum Qualification:Bachelors degree in computer science computer information systems information technology or a combination of education and experience equating to the U.S. equivalent of a Bachelors degree in one of the aforementioned subjects.
