Job Description

Project overview
Our client is a leading commercial real estate advisory and service provider for large institutional investors global corporations and various owners and occupiers. Their mission is to simplify the process of leasing buying or selling properties across multiple sectors including retail office multifamily industrial student housing and hospitality. The team is committed to guiding clients through the real estate process ensuring it is rewarding for everyone involved.

In this role you will
  • Analyze the current legacy Commercial Real Estate (CRE)ratings platform documenting existing architecture workflows and issues.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand priorities and capture both business and technical requirements.
  • Design and deliver enhancements to the ratings system ensuring stability scalability and performance.
  • Conduct a holistic end-to-end (E2E) review of the platform including performance security code quality and data architecture.
  • Propose and design the future-state architecture incorporating best practices and a modernization roadmap tailored to business needs.
  • Work alongside cross-functional teams (product QA data infrastructure) to ensure alignment and successful delivery of platform goals.
  • Participate in code reviews documentation and knowledge transfer sessions as needed.
  • Produce clear and actionable documentation to support technical decision-making and gain senior leadership buy-in.

If you have
  • 5 years of experience as a Senior Engineer Technical Lead or in similar roles within enterprise technology environments.
  • Expertise in software architecture SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and legacy system modernization.
  • Experience in reviewing and modernizing legacy systems built with C# frameworks.
  • Proven ability in requirements gathering stakeholder management and technical documentation.
  • Strong analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • A proven track record of delivering enhancements to business-critical platforms.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for both technical and business audiences.
  • Comfortable working independently and in distributed cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with legacy and modern technology stacks.
  • Knowledge of cloud migration microservices and API-driven architectures.
  • A strong background in performance optimization and scalable design.
  • Prior experience with CRE financial ratings or property management platforms is a plus.
  • Experience using AI tools daily to enhance productivity is a must.
