Clinical Coder

You will be responsible for identifying and translating inpatient medical procedures interventions ad diagnoses into code using various systems such as ICD 10-AM 12th Edition the Australian Coding Standards (ACS) and the Australian Classification of Health Interventions (ACHI).
The role is a fulltime opportunity working Monday to Friday based at Southland Hospital or can be remote.

The successful applicant will have coded in ICD-10-AM 12th edition and will therefore have a sound understanding of the requirements of clinical coding within a health environment and should also be a Level 3 Clinical coding with coding experience in a New Zealand hospital.
