Job Description
At Toloka AI we create data that powers some of the best GenAI models we work with Big Tech renowned AI startups enterprises and non-profit research organisations worldwide.
We use a combination of Experts Crowd Tech Platform teaching AI models to reason. We have experts in more than 20 different domains from doctors and lawyers to physicists and engineers and one of the most diverse global crowds from 100 countries speaking 40 languages.

Role Description
We are seeking an exceptional Delivery Director to own and scale the execution of complex AI data projects across a major client portfolio or service vertical. This role focuses on operational excellence and flawless delivery working in close partnership with our Business Development team to drive revenue growth through exceptional client outcomes.
Youll own the execution excellence for a substantial portfolio of projects ensuring every delivery exceeds client expectations on quality while hitting timeline and gross margin targets.
Working directly with client researchers vendor managers science teams and product teams youll be the execution backbone that turns business development wins into delivered value.
Youll combine operational rigor with client excellence:
- Executing complex project portfolios from scoping through delivery ensuring on-time high-quality outcomes that drive client satisfaction and retention
- Managing gross margin targets across your project portfolio optimizing delivery efficiency and resource allocation
- Partnering closely with Business Development to scope new opportunities structure project proposals and convert prospects into successful deliveries
- Directing delivery teams and project managers stepping in as hands-on DPM when situations require it
- Driving continuous improvement in delivery processes and developing new approaches to enhance execution quality
- Managing client relationships during project execution ensuring smooth communication and addressing delivery challenges
This role requires exceptional operational leadership combined with the ability to manage complex technical stakeholder relationships. Youll oversee multiple concurrent projects while maintaining the execution standards that fuel our revenue growth.
Youll work closely with client data scientists ML engineers researchers and executives who are pushing the boundaries of GenAI. Youll experience our dynamic scale-up environment alongside our team of ex-Google McKinsey QuantumBlack and Bain professionals.
Required Skills and Experience
- Consulting toolkit: 2 years in top-3 consulting reaching levels of Junior Engagement Manager Engagement Manager or Associate Partner
- Industry experience: worked in tech startups or as a founder
- Background in STEM: BS or MS in computer science maths physics etc.
- Deep understanding of AI and GenAI: technology and market trends basic knowledge of statistics ML and data science
