Job Description

Our client is seeking a VP Powerplant to play a key role in optimising the technical and commercial management of our engine assets. Reporting to the EVP Powerplant and Production this role will focus on supporting aircraft transitions managing engine maintenance programs and working closely with OEMs MROs and airlines.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide expert powerplant support for aircraft deliveries redeliveries and transitions
Manage engine shop visits repairs and overhauls to ensure cost efficiency
Support lease negotiations ensuring strong asset protection strategies
Develop key relationships with OEMs MROs and airlines to optimise engine performance and costs
Monitor and manage fleet maintenance risk exposure

What You Bring:

5 years of experience in engine MRO OEM leasing or airline operations
Strong technical and commercial understanding of major engine types
Experience with engine maintenance programs lease agreements and regulatory compliance
Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
Degree in Aeronautical Engineering or FAA/EASA licensed aircraft mechanic qualification (preferred)
