We are looking for a passionate and skilled Technical Superintendent to strengthen our team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the safe efficient and sustainable operation of our fleet while working in a dynamic international environment.
Job Description:
- Take ownership of the daily technical management of assigned vessels ensuring safety reliability and cost efficiency
- Plan and supervise maintenance dry-docking and repair projects
- Manage technical budgets and contribute to cost control and optimization
- Ensure full compliance with class flag state ISM/ISPS and all relevant regulations
- Provide technical guidance to shipboard staff and collaborate with shipyards contractors and suppliers
- Conduct vessel inspections monitor performance and follow up on corrective actions
- Contribute to incident investigations and implement preventive measures
Qualifications:
- Degree in Marine Engineering or maritime technical education
- Experience as Chief Engineer senior officer or shore-based superintendent
- Solid knowledge of international maritime regulations and class requirements
- Commercial mindset with proven experience in budget management and vendor negotiations
- Proficiency in IT systems and planned maintenance systems
Personal traits:
- Excellent communicator with cultural awareness and strong interpersonal skills
Strong leadership problem-solving and decision-making skills
