Pay
HK$203551 to HK$256625 (HGPS Point 50 to 51B) per month including Monthly Allowance
Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.
Key Responsibilities
1.
Provide specialist services.
2.
Supervise Residents undergoing specialist training.
3.
Undertake teaching and administrative work.
4.
Undergo continuing medical education and professional development.
5.
Conduct research as appropriate.
Entry Requirements
1.
Registered medical practitioner under the Medical Registration Ordinance; and
2.
Fellow of the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine (Medicine) or equivalent; and
3.
Registered in the Specialist Register in the relevant specialty of the Medical Council of Hong Kong.
Preferable Attributes/Exposure
1.
Staff members in the rank are expected to meet the 4 core competencies set for the Consultant post. They are:

3.
Holding the trainer status of the Hong Kong College of Physicians is preferred.
Contribution to professional development including research teaching and training.

For post (b) the selected candidate is expected to have training and experience in cellular therapy responsible for the advancement of cellular therapy including haematopoietic stem cell transplantation and CAR-T cell therapy.

(1) Enhancement of cluster-based Infectious Disease service transitioning parenteral antibiotics to oral agents and patient education initiatives and vaccination
(2) Expansion of adult allo-HSCT service capacity extension of allogeneic HSCT to patients beyond 60 years old and coping with increasing service demand as a result of improved supportive care novel anti-cancer therapeutics expanded donor pool etc.
