Job Title:Mailroom Processor
Location: Onsite - Warwick RI
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Pay Rate:$20/hr.
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Mailroom Processor to join our this role you will be responsible for processing lockbox accounts by receiving opening and scanning payments checks and related documents. This is a production-driven position that requires accuracy consistency and adherence to client service level agreements (SLAs). You will work under direct supervision with guidance from workflow leads and supervisors.
Key Responsibilities
- Pull incoming mail from bins set up work batches and run automated mail sorting/opening machines.
- Accurately scan payments checks invoices and related documents.
- Identify and assist in resolving errors or exceptions in mailroom processes.
- Perform clerical tasks and support daily production needs.
- Review rejects before mail-out and ensure deadlines are consistently met.
- Operate alpha/numeric key machines.
- Work independently while contributing as a team player.
- Complete additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Basic computer knowledge with the ability to read and follow written instructions in English.
- Strong attention to detail organization and accuracy.
- Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Physical ability to meet job demands including binding lifting (up to 20 lbs.) twisting turning and extended periods of sitting or standing.
- Commitment to meeting quality and production standards.
