The Quality Auditor is responsible for supporting the Quality System including auditing of in-process product per instructions as well as all associated documentation and performing the duties of Receiving and Dock and Seatback areas auditing as needed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Perform receiving inspection and dock auditing as needed.
- Perform in-process inspection of product to determine compliance to customer requirements.
- Maintain variable charts per blueprint and / or customer requirements.
- Monitor data received by subcontractors for compliance to specifications as needed.
- Assist in sort operations as needed.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures (i.e. quality policy manual associate handbook etc.).
- Comply with all internal and OSHA required safety procedures.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping in respective areas.
- Perform dock auditing as needed.
Qualifications: - To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six months related experience and / or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of quality systems and standards inspection techniques and simple measurement instrument usage. Capable of performing Gage R&R and capability studies.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence and to speak and present information effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Good organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to do simple math: addition subtraction multiplication and division. Also the ability to add positive and negative numbers.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to handle problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office (ex: Excel Word Outlook)
- Relative experience is preferred but not required.
