Job description
As a Supplier Quality Engineer at NTS Eindhoven you are the technical link between our internal organization and (inter)national suppliers. You ensure the quality of purchased parts and systems from initial design to series production and actively manage risk and continuous improvement. This way you directly contribute to the success of our customers and our high-quality products.
Furthermore your responsibilities include:
Ensuring supply chain quality from concept phase to release-for-volume in a low-volume high-complexity environment;
Analyzing quality data leading 8D teams and eliminating root causes towards zero defects;
Auditing and improving supplier processes (such as machining welding grinding) according to APQP pFMEA control plans and SPC;
Initiating and guiding improvement projects; monitoring progress effectiveness and reporting;
Close collaboration with Project Buyers and NPI engineers within multidisciplinary project teams;
Facilitating supplier reviews establishing KPIs and monitoring performance;
Building strategic relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders and creating support for joint quality and cost goals.
Requirements
Technical vocational education (e.g. Mechanical Engineering Mechatronics) and at least 5 years of SQE/QA experience in the high-tech or manufacturing industry;
Knowledge of FMEA 8D APQP SPC and production/assembly processes at suppliers;
Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data-driven improvement proposals into concrete actions;
Demonstrated experience with supplier audits and relationship/supplier management;
Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English;
Structured decisive and able to engage people in improvement projects.
