You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailReporting to the Petroleum and Ag Equipment Manager responsibilities for this position include the following:
Operational Management:Responsible for coordination of operations for Bulk Fuels Petroleum and Lubricant products including dispatching processing claims working closely with Hepburn Petroleum Manager and Watrous Ag Location Manager to improve operational efficiencies card lock management of Tamke Road and Bizhub/Sutherland cardlock locations enforcement of policies and procedures implementing corrective actions. Oversees effective management logistics and inventory related to oil and lubes as well as bulk plants and related equipment.
Talent Management & Team Leadership:Assist the Petroleum Manager in leading the Bulk Fuels and Lubricants Team within the parameters of the CBA and Saskatoon Co-op policies and guidelines. Assist with on boarding talent acquisition performance management including communicating clear performance expectations. Assist in training and resource development.
Financial Management:Assist and provide input the Petroleum Manager with the planning developing and completion of the Budget. Provides reports and consolidated data to make informed decisions on. Work with the Petroleum Manager on financial reporting variance explanations and implementing adjustments to ensure profitability. Responsible for inventory counts and schedules updating costs to ensure accurate data/pricing to minimize costs and maximize profits.
Marketing: In support of the department marketing plan provides input into the departments marketing plan executes store level and local marketing plan as directed by Petroleum Manager ensuring point of sale and in-store signage and promotions are aligned with programs and organizational/divisional marketing campaigns and effectively displayed.
Analytics: Track and compile relevant data to measure targets and analyze results such as sales and employee sales hours CASM execution shrink inventory margin productivity specific product performance.
Safety (and Environmental) Stewardship:Ensures compliance with Saskatoon Coops Safety Policies and government regulations (OHS committee meetings fire drills operator certification). Reports incidents workplace accidents and near misses as required. Aids in investigations in asset protection or other related matters. Implements corrective action to prevent future safety events.
Qualifications:
Successful candidates will have theirGrade 12 or equivalent with a preference for post-secondary education (business diploma or degree). In addition qualified candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible industry experience or equivalent
