Job Description

Learning Mentor

35 hours per week 39 weeks per year

We are looking to a Learning Mentor to work with Year 11 and provide pastoral support to students across Key Stage 3 and 4. The person will support individuals around social and emotional issues and removing barriers to progress.

Learning Mentors act as positive role models and enthusiastic team players with excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate others. The key for success within this role is the ability to listen to have compassion and to form positive relationships that will help students to meet their full academic potential.

This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to make a significant change to the lives of learners. A background in coaching welfare mentoring or parental work with young people would be helpful but key is the ability to listen to have compassion and to form positive relationships that will help students to meet their full academic potential.
