Our client is an international automotive parts manufacturer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyzing and evaluating production processes layouts and workflows to identify improvement opportunities in efficiency productivity and quality.
- Leading and implementing Lean Manufacturing principles such as Kaizen 5S Value Stream Mapping SMED 8D Problem-Solving and other continuous improvement tools.
- Developing and optimizing Standard Work Instructions (SWIs) production line balancing and time studies to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams including production quality and maintenance to implement cost-reduction projects and cycle time improvements.
- Conducting root cause analysis (RCA) and implementing corrective actions to resolve manufacturing inefficiencies and quality issues.
- Driving waste reduction initiatives focusing on reducing the 7 Wastes (Muda) and improving overall factory productivity.
- Developing and managing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor production performance and report on progress toward operational goals.
- Utilizing Six Sigma and statistical methods to analyze production data reduce variability and improve process control.
- Preparing and presenting project plans cost analyses and ROI calculations to support business decisions and continuous improvement strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 5 years of proven experience in automotive manufacturing with expertise in lean manufacturing techniques.
- Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred).
- Proficiency in lean tools like Kaizen 5 Why FMEA and Value Stream Mapping.
- Strong analytical problem-solving project management and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Experience with ERP systems AutoCAD and relevant industrial engineering software.
- Excellent communication skills and knowledge of automation ISO/TS standards and cost optimization.
