Job Title: Additive Manufacturing Intern

Job Summary

The intern will assist the R&D team in Additive Manufacturing projects relating to 3D printing process optimization and material characterization

Reports to: Lead Scientist (Additive Manufacturing)

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the engineer on lab set up activities documentation R&D and part printing works.

  • Operates and maintain additive manufacturing machines carry out preprocessing activities like powder preparation and loading machine set-up.

  • Perform powder and part characterization activities such as particle size analyzing test coupon cut up mounting and polishing works.

  • Carries out post processing activities such as inspection de-powdering cleaning and support removal.

  • Work closely with the Additive Manufacturing team to support daily 3D Printing operations.

  • Willing to learn operation of multiple machines and adapt to fast changing environment.

Requisite Criteria & Skills

  • Pursing a bachelors degree in Mechanical engineering Aerospace or Material Science.

  • Knowledge on CAD (Solidworks or equivalent) and metallography analytical tools will be an added advantage.

  • Team player with strong analytical skills
