What will you do
In this position you will join our Hong Kong Buildings business where you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists that bring ideas to life for our clients across all types of Built Environment projects such as schools data centres casinos and a variety of Government projects.
We know the work we do is vital in assisting our worlds economic development and its the technical expertise and the depth of knowledge of our people that really sets us apart. Here are the key things you will do to bring ideas to life.
- Assist in all aspects of supervision of building services work on site within the contracts and maintenance of site records.
- Assist in monitoring of labour resources progress materials and equipment used on site.
- Assist in inspection and witness testing and commissioning of building services installations.
- Assist in the checking of as-fitted drawings submitted by contractors.
- Monitor rectification of defects and report status.
- Liaise with consultants / main contractors / sub-contractors / suppliers and the HKSTP project team and facilities maintenance/operation team and etc.

What can you bring to the team
Firstly you will share our genuine passion for re-imaging engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future. You will also need:
- Certificate or above in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 4 years related site experience in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering preferably with working experience in the capacity of Assistant Building Services Inspector; or equivalent.
- Station on construction site and occasional travel to PRC may be required for inspection of off-site works and materials.
- Effective communication in both English and Cantonese and interpersonal skill.
- Knowledge and/or experience in Statutory authority and public utilities regulations requirements inspections and handover practice.
