Sandals Church (various campuses)
STATUS: Part-time 10-20 hours a week
SCHEDULE:
Thursday 9:00am-5:00pm
Additional hours vary depending on the role
Job Overview:
The Young Adult Residency is a part-time seasonal role designed to develop young leaders in both ministry experience and personal discipleship. Residents will split their time between (1) serving in a specific ministry role at their assigned campus and (2) supporting the broader Network Young Adults Ministry during the summer season which will include heavy development days. This residency provides hands-on leadership training spiritual development and opportunities to contribute meaningfully to the mission of Sandals Church.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ministry Assignment (50%)
- Serve in a designated ministry role based on campus/network needs (e.g. Youth Worship Groups Operations Connections Social Media etc.).
- Assist ministry leaders with planning coordination and execution of weekly gatherings events and ongoing projects.
- Serve as a part of the ministry leadership team which executes the vision mission and values of the ministry.
- Engage relationally with volunteers church members to foster spiritual community.
- Network Young Adults Ministry (50%) - ends July 31st
- Partner with the Network Young Adults Team to plan prepare and execute summer ministry initiatives gatherings and events.
- Contribute to digital engagement communication and follow-up efforts for young adults across all campuses.
- Participate in the Residency cohort which will include: leadership development team meetings and collaborative projects with other residents.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Skills & Experience:
- A follower of Jesus with a desire to grow in character calling and competency.
- A passion for being developed as a young leader in the church
- Willingness to serve flexibly in both campus-specific and network-wide roles.
- Strong interpersonal organizational and communication skills.
- A heart for young adults and the mission of Sandals Church.
- Practical skill requirements differ based on ministry role.
COMPENSATION:
Pay Range: $18 per hour
We will provide a pay rate that is within our compensation structure and that fits a candidates qualifications and experience for the job. A wage range posted is not a guarantee of a specific wage for a job offer.
