Powering Communities Supporting Health & Care Join Star Group as a Service Electrician in the Northern Rivers!

We are seeking a licensed and motivated Service Electrician to join our Northern team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on meaningful projects across sites such as Lismore Hospital contributing to critical infrastructure that supports community well-being.

Job Title: Service Electrician Northern Rivers Region

Reporting Line: Service Manager/ Branch Manager

Location: Ideal for candidates based in Casino Lismore or the surrounding Northern Rivers towns

Key Responsibilities

  • Attend client sites to deliver a wide range of electrical services.
  • Carry out installations for electrical and data communications with a focus on quality.
  • Perform troubleshooting and fault-finding for electrical and communications systems.
  • Undertake both scheduled and reactive maintenance and repairs.
  • Liaise directly with clients providing clear updates on completed works.
  • Complete documentation and reporting accurately and on time.
  • Consistently adhere to safety standards and procedures.

Qualifications & Experience

  • NSW Electrical Licence and trade qualifications (Essential).
  • Previous service and/or construction experience in health aged care or corrective services facilities (Preferred).
  • Registered Communications and Data Cabler with endorsements (Desirable).
  • Strong background in commercial service environments ideally within NSW government sectors.
  • Current Drivers Licence with the ability to travel to multiple client sites.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to build lasting relationships.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support colleagues and work collaboratively under deadlines.
