The Processing Plant Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the Processing plant operations under the supervision of the Executive Director. This includes ensuring safety overseeing maintenance supervising staff and maintaining quality and quantity control of Plant stocks.
Major Job Responsibilities

Overall control of the Processing Plant ensuring that production and operational standards are not compromised.

Planning and implementing targets to meet budgetary requirements of the Company for maximum profitability and minimize cost of production.

Planning and implementing improved production and efficiency of the Processing Plant in compliance with the regulations and guidelines.

Oversee the implementation of Bio-security and control programs.

Enforcing cleanliness and application of First in First Out Inventory Management System in the Processing Plant including Proper Batching of the products.

Advice on production slaughtering processing product storage and handling and distribution.

Initiate and implement trainings for staff especially with international standards policies and procedures.

Implement Quality production and operational standards are continually maintained in line with the company policies.

Prepare weekly/monthly reports to management.

Any other duties assigned by the Management from time to time.

Several years experience in production management preferably in a leadership role.
