Our client is one of the leading pharmaceutical manufacturers in Thailand with over 10 years of expertise.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Supply Chain to lead and manage the end-to-end supply chain functions within our organization. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of experience in the supply chain field with a strong background in both the pharmaceutical and food industries. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of import/export operations cost management and overall supply chain efficiency. This role requires excellent leadership problem-solving skills and the ability to ensure smooth and cost-effective supply chain processes across multiple departments and regions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading and managing all supply chain functions including procurement logistics inventory management distribution and transportation.
- Overseeing all import and export activities ensuring the timely and efficient movement of goods across international borders.
- Driving cost-effective solutions throughout the supply chain identifying and implementing strategies for cost savings and efficiency.
- Continuously evaluating and improving supply chain processes to ensure maximum efficiency reduced lead times and minimized operational risks.
- Using SAP or similar ERP systems to enhance supply chain visibility data accuracy and decision-making.
- Ensuring the team is adequately trained in industry best practices and equipped with the necessary tools to succeed.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders such as sales marketing production and finance to ensure alignment of supply chain strategies with business goals.
- Preparing and presenting regular reports on supply chain performance KPIs cost savings and areas for improvement to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in supply chain management with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong background in the pharmaceutical and food industries with in-depth knowledge of their respective supply chain processes.
- Proven expertise in import/export operations customs clearance and global supply chain coordination.
- Proficiency in SAP or other ERP systems with the ability to leverage technology to improve supply chain performance.
- Strong expertise in cost management and cost reduction strategies across the supply chain.
