The opportunity:

What Ill be doing A day in the life

Through effective management and communication you will lead the proactive safety culture of the business contributing to a sustainable and profitable business. You will lead and influence people to do good work every day.

Operational getting stuff done

  • Promote lead and support the safety culture of the company

  • Take responsibility for HSQTE within the company to ensure compliance with the company health and safety policy

  • Assist with the development updating and maintenance and implementation of the living safely manual to ensure compliance with H&S legislation regulations and standards and codes of practice

  • Ensure the systems in the manual are implemented and complied with throughout the company

  • Provide advice guidance support and training to management and staff at all levels in relation to health and safety

  • Assist management to comply with the company quality policy

  • Manage the procedures and requirements of the company environmental policy

  • Youll also contribute in any other duties or projects that are reasonably requested

Skills Knowledge Experience & Qualifications I need to be successful

  • Must have formal health and safety qualification or working towards one

  • Management experience and proven experience in leading a successful team

  • Minimum 5 years experience in Health and Safety in roading civil or construction industries
