Hi there!
Vet Nurse Plus needs you to be our next Full-time Tutor and Clinic Coordinator working from our Botany Education Centre.
Youll be combining teaching with the key role of managing clinic relationships so bring your smile your drivers license and your amazing organisation skills. This role is a great way to stay in touch with the industry you love and share the knowledge and experience you have gained along the way.
Teaching is a great next step for vet nurses who may be after a new fact most of our tutors come straight from a clinic so you can too! Vet Nurse Plus provides the teaching content that you will deliver and the support you need while developing your skills as a tutor on the job.
All you need is:
- A great way with people friendly and confident
- Good communication and organisation skills
- Diploma in Veterinary Nursing or Bachelor of Veterinary Science or above
- An interest in showing others how to be a great nurse you may have enjoyed training students at your clinic
- Solid computer skills
- Your own car and a full NZ drivers license fuel allowance provided in package
- An interest in further education to learn more about teaching eventually gaining a qualification in adult education
- You will occasionally need to travel to the Albany Education Centre for meetings and assessment events.

Vet Nurse Plus is a boutique private training establishment that delivers the New Zealand Diploma in Veterinary Nursing at both our Albany and Botany education centres. Our programmes are NZQA approved and we are government funded. Our focus is to produce outstanding veterinary nurse graduates who can hit the ground running.
