Job Description

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth were looking to add a NPI Technical Process Management Engineer located in Prai Penang.

What Youll Do:

  • Be the bridge between our innovation engineering teams and high-volume production groups turning creative concepts into manufacturable solutions.
  • Evaluate product designs and provide data-driven recommendations to boost process efficiency and quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design innovative cost-effective and scalable manufacturing processes.
  • Partner with design engineers to develop prototype and low-volume build processes ensuring smooth technology transfer.
  • Lead quick-reaction engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve challenges during product builds.
  • Define implement and sustain robust and repeatable process parameters for high-quality manufacturing.
  • Conduct root cause analyses and drive continuous improvement across production lines.
  • Apply statistical process control (SPC) and analytical tools to monitor and optimize performance and yield.
  • Champion safety productivity and throughput enhancements creating a culture of operational excellence.
  • Innovate and refine manufacturing techniques to expand Flexs in-house capabilities and improve yield outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain clear process documentation and training materials.
  • Support technology transfers by delivering hands-on training to production personnel.
  • Participate in PFMEA and DFMEA to ensure design and process reliability from concept to completion.

What You Bring to the Team:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in process or manufacturing engineering.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of PCBA SMT Wave Soldering and Assembly processes.
  • Excellent communication collaboration and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in coordinating with multi stake-holders to ensure smooth project transfer from R&D Dongguan factory to Penang site.
