Job Description
We are currently looking for experienced Site Manager to join ourteam. Candidates with a demonstrated history of working to gold safety and quality standards in a Management capacity are strongly encouraged to apply.
The successful applicant/swill be well presented with a mature attitude towards safety and possess a strong team-leadership focus. A passion for drilling and a hard working attitude is essential. This position is offering a 4:2 roster servicing sites across our Surface Operations. Boart Longyear offers ongoing training and developmental opportunities as well as competitive salary and bonus scheme.

- Provide ongoing coachingto develop your team.
- Address any performance or conduct issues as they arise in a timely and respectful manner.
- Co-ordinate and allocatework as required to meet drilling schedules in the most cost effective/efficient way while meeting safety compliance requirements including theco-ordination of relief team members as required.
- Complete and approve dailyrig reports to send to contracts administrators for payroll and clientinvoicing requirements.
- Provide technical advice tostaff to effectively manage rig operations.
- Conduct daily shiftmeetings.
- Ensuring mechanical availability of assets through basic maintenance reporting process and effective prestart and preventative maintenance schedules.
- Liaise with Operations/Client regarding the progress of the drilling program.
- Safety leadership and assisting team members with thedevelopment of thorough risk assessments critical control verifications and job safetyanalysis. All operations must be conducted in line with relevant legislation standards work practices and awards.
- Conduct reviews of employee performance in line with overall organisational strategy and development.
- Participate in drilling Contractor toolbox meetings and Geology safety meetings to ensure that all relevant successes and opportunities for improvement are effectively communicated and that feedback from the Contractor is registered and actioned upon where necessary.
- Report all safety hazardsor workplace injury/illness to the client and management immediately.
- Conduct investigations of allincidents / hazard management issues that occur in the work area and on shift andensure effective corrective actions are identified implemented and monitoredin a timely and productive manner.
- Liaise closely with key stakeholders within Boart Longyear to ensure that lessons are captured and issues are shared and escalated.

- Surface & underground Diamond Drilling experience.
- Cert IV in Drilling Operations (Desirable)
- Manual Drivers Licence
- Training and Assessment Qualifications or relevant experience (Desirable)
- Strong communicator and commitment to leading by example. The successful candidate must be able to develop and maintain strong transparent relationships with our client base and key stakeholders.
- Ability topass a Boart Longyear Pre-Employment Medical including a Drug and Alcohol Screen.
