Senior Test Automation Engineer

Our global information technology organization is seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer to join our Shared Services Engineering team in Budapest.

• Design document and implement test suites based on product requirements and user stories
• Performfunctional regression integration exploratory and performance testing
• Develop a deep understanding of thebusiness domain to ensure comprehensive test coverage
• Collaborate with product and development teams to clarify requirements and define acceptance criteria
• Identify document and track defects
• Work inan Agile team and contribute to the entire lifecycle of some of the most critical systems in the firm
• Continuously improve and optimize test frameworks methodologies and processes
• Provide guidance and expert advice to other teams

Required:

• 5 years of experience intesting web applications
• Good understanding ofQA methodologies test planning and execution
• Basic scripting knowledge inJavaScript orTypeScript
• Experience withUI test automation tools such asCypressorPlaywright
• Familiarity with Jira or similar issue tracking systems
• Solid understanding ofweb technologies (HTML CSS JavaScript basics)
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• No experience in the financial industry required

Preferred:

• Experience indomain-driven testing or working in domain-critical environments (e.g. finance healthcare logistics)
• Familiarity withcloud services(e.g. Azure Google) and containerized environments (Docker Kubernetes)
• Exposure toCI/CD pipelinesand test integration
