Purchasing Officer (Fresh Graduates)
Our client is global leader in travel amenity industry partnering with major brands to create a diverse range of products tailored to their specific needs. They are currently looking for an outstanding Purchasing Officer to join the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of the procurement process for amenity kits and comfort items (textiles).
- Assist the purchasing team in managing inquiries and projects with suppliers and partners.
- Support the product development process by coordinating quotations and samples in alignment with customer specifications.
- Oversee cost management and budget control for projects and developments.
- Monitor the production process to ensure adherence to project timelines.
- Develop and source new products as directed by the department.
- Manage and track shipments in collaboration with forwarders and factories.
- Facilitate cross-functional coordination with relevant internal departments.
- Travel for business purposes may be required.
Qualifications:
- Higher diploma or associate degree in Merchandising Supply Chain Textiles or related fields.
- 0 1 year of working experience in purchasing or sourcing (experience in textiles amenity bags or cosmetics is advantageous). Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply!
- Proficiency in spoken and written English and Mandarin is essential.
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
