Pay
HK$19764 HK$24701 per month
Up to 5% of total basic salary as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assist technicians with the collection of various specimens classification checking labeling recording and registration.
2. Handle specimens operate other simple and semi-skilled technical work under supervision.
3. Handle the disinfection of contaminated glasses and containers reuse or dispose them as appropriate; dispose corrosive and poisonous reagents chemicals and articles which are likely to be infectious.
4. Assist with the preparation of culture media solvents reagents dyestuff containers or glasses in laboratory which need special treatment.
5. Operate autoclave high temperature oven to sterilize the clean or infectious articles under supervision.
6. Sterilize clean and tidy the working table and equipment in laboratory.
7. Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisors.
Entry Requirements
1. Completed F.5 / S.5 or equivalent; AND
2. Completion of structured departmental training (see Remark 2); AND
3. Good command of English and Chinese written and spoken.
Preferable Attributes
1. Pleasant and mature personality interested to work in hospital environment.
2. Knowledge in computer software such as MS Word Excel PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing.
Remarks

Employment may be terminated if the selected applicant cannot pass the examination / assessment after training.
