Research Assistant II in theFaculty of Education (Ref. :532549)
We are seeking a motivated person to join the speech and neuromodulation lab in the Faculty of Education. This position is available as either full-time or part-time commencing as soon as possible for a six-month term with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
Applicants should:
- hold a bachelors degree or above in Speech Therapy Linguistics Psychology Neuroscience or related disciplines
- have at least one year of post-qualification work experience in speech and language-related projects
- possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
- be proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese)
- have experience in fieldwork data collection from children (preferred)
- be familiar with statistical packages such as SPSS or R
Job duty:
- liaise with schools and coordinate participant recruitment
- collect data from children and adults
- schedule and conduct behavioral experiments
- prepare linguistic stimuli/tasks in Cantonese
- review and write research reports and articles
- perform other research-related duties as assigned by the project leader
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered. Eligible appointment will be entitled to annual leave and medical benefits.
