We are currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Pharmacist to join our client in Milton Keynes as a Band 8a Medicines Safety and Medicines Information Pharmacist. This is a key role focused on ensuring the safe and effective use of medicines across the organisation. The successful candidate must have previous NHS hospital experience and be confident in providing expert advice on medication safety and information.
Key Responsibilities
Lead on medicines safety initiatives and ensure compliance with national and local guidelines. Provide specialist advice on medicines information to healthcare professionals. Support the development and implementation of medicines policies and procedures. Monitor and report medication incidents and contribute to risk reduction strategies. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote safe prescribing and administration practices.
