In this role you will be a key member of the Iberia Service Operations team responsible for delivering first-line maintenance site installation commissioning and start-up support for Emersons Customer Base where the Delta V Distributed Control System is installed. You will work closely with customers to optimize system performance.

In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Assisting customers in the resolution of Emerson product service and application problems related to the DCS.
- Supporting our Installed Base service contracts in day-to-day maintenance of the site systems.
- Being available to support the on-call rotation.
- Carrying out start-up / installation / commissioning fault analysis and repairs on Emerson products primarily DeltaV including investigation of problems being experienced at customer sites.
- Implementing product/system configuration changes at site to meet customer requirements.
- Assisting Sales Engineers in the demonstration of Emerson products to potential customers and providing guidance in product application and after sales service.
- Being flexible to work throughout Spain & Portugal offshore or abroad and working overtime including weekends to support customers where required.

For This Role You Will Need:
- University background in an engineering field or equivalent or proven experience within the industry
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar position
- Fluency in Spanish language
- Good knowledge English language (verbal and written)
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel Word and PowerPoint)
- Car driving license.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Knowledge in automation preferable in DCS.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Experience as a Service or Instrument Engineer in a process control environment with a particular emphasis on installation commissioning and start-up.
- Background or knowledge of automation or electronic field.
