- This position is hybrid based in Barcelona Spain.
You Bring to Applaudo the Following Competencies:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Software Engineering Computer Engineering or a related field (preferred) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven experience with API testing emphasizing accuracy performance and maintainability.
- Hands-on experience using Postman with proven ability to migrate or transition from JMeter.
- Desirable knowledge of automation frameworks such as SuperTest or similar tools.
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines preferably using GitHub Actions.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Advanced English level as you will collaborate with teams and stakeholders across regions.
You Will Be Accountable for the Following Responsibilities:
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to ensure continuous quality validation.
- Design and execute API tests ensuring reliability performance and compatibility across environments.
- Participate in test design and planning from the requirements stage (sprint planning) to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Collaborate closely with the QA team based in Europe to align testing strategies and maintain consistent quality standards.
- Analyze troubleshoot and document defects providing clear and actionable insights to the development team.
- Contribute to improving testing frameworks and automation pipelines to increase test efficiency and coverage.
- Stay up to date with testing tools frameworks and best practices to enhance automation capabilities.
